How To Eject External Hard Drive Windows 10?
EJECTING EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE FROM WINDOWS TASKBAR
From the desktop, locate the notification tray, which is usually at the bottom right corner of the screen.
If you don’t see the eject icon, click on the up arrow to reveal the pop-up menu.
Double-click on the Safely Remove icon in the System Tray. This will launch the Safely Remove program.
Click Eject [Device Name] and wait for a message stating it’s safe to disconnect.
Now, the computer ejects your hard drive, allowing you to safely eject external hard drive windows 10 from the USB cable.
EJECTING USING WINDOWS FILE EXPLORER:
Press the Windows key + E key to open the File Explorer.
You can also open it by double-clicking This PC.
