Your Outlook application may get stuck, hang/freeze, or fail to connect when you try to send a mail or open a file. Outlook Search Not Working
Step 1:First, update Microsoft Office. Launch the Microsoft office Product Information screen and click the Office Updates option. The updates will be installed automatically on your computer.
Step 2:Next, you have to install updates for Outlook. To do so, launch Outlook and click the Office Account option under the File menu to solve Outlook search not working.
Step 3:Go to the Product Information section and click the Update Options.
Step 4:Click the Enable Updates option and then select Update Now. Updates, if available, will be installed.
Step 6:Check if the Outlook search not working issue has been resolved. If the Search function fails, then proceed to repair Outlook.
Step 7:You can use the built-in Office repair utility to fix the Outlook not working issue. Open the Control Panel window on your Windows computer.
Step 8:Make sure the View by List option is set to Category. Go to the Programs option and select the Uninstall a Program option.
Step 9:A list of programs will be displayed. Select the Microsoft Office option and then click Change. If available, select Online Repair, else, choose Repair to solve Outlook search not working.
Step 10:If a User Account Control window appears, click the Yes option. Once the repair process completes, restart Outlook.
